Single family home and duplexes in the Vail Valley had an increase in average price from $1,768,021 in June 2021 to $1,939,533 in June of this year, an increase of 9.7%. Similar to neighboring markets, the number of closed sales are down and inventory is up YOY; -24.3% and 9.7% respectively.

For townhomes and condos in the Vail Valley, the increase in average price was at a bigger magnitude than for single family homes and duplexes, or 44% YOY leaving it at $1,859,242. Closed sales went from 102 in June 2021 to 66 in June 2022 and inventory increased by 13.6% to 150, giving buyers a bit of reprieve.
