The Silverthorne Town Council at its meeting on January 11 passed the second reading, and therefore put into effect, a new short term rental ordinance.

The new ordinance divides the town of Silverthorne into three areas; area 1 is largest and covers most of the town’s main corridor and neighborhoods and will be capped at 10%, area 2 includes Summit Sky Ranch and the southern downtown along the Blue River and will have a 50% cap, and area 3 south of Willowbrook will not allow any short term licenses.
