
Single family homes and duplexes continued to do well in the Vail Valley with prices appreciating by 22.6% YOY in August. The number of closed sales ticked up as well; from 58 to 61, and inventory of homes for sale was at 223, or a 4.7% increase from August 2022.

Townhomes and condos saw a price increase of 54.4% YOY, a huge increase in a market that is softening in many places. The number of closed sales was up just over 6%, and inventory decreased from 168 in August 2022 to 150 in August of this year.
